- Educational Qualifications
Level Required Qualification
Secondary (Classes IX–X) Graduate/Post Graduate (≥50%) + B.Ed OR integrated B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. (4-year)
Higher Secondary (XI–XII) Post Graduate (≥50%) + B.Ed OR integrated Ed. degree (B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.)
Minimum Marks Relaxation: 5% allowed for reserved categories
Additional requirement: Candidates must have passed the medium of instruction (Bengali, English, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu, Santhali, Nepali, or Oriya) at the appropriate exam level

Selection Process
Written Exam (Offline, OMR-based, 60 MCQs, 1 hour, 60 marks) – no negative marking
Academic Scores – up to 10 marks (based on graduation/PG scores)
Teaching Experience – up to 10 marks (2 marks per year, max 10 years)
Oral Interview – up to 10 marks
Lecture Demonstration – up to 10 marks
Total Score: 100 marks
Salary Structure
Secondary Level:
Basic Pay: ₹33,400
Gross Salary: ≈₹38,760/month
Higher Secondary Level:
Basic Pay: ₹42,600
Gross Salary: ≈₹50,000/month
Includes allowances (house rent, dearness, etc.).
