Graduate Apprentice (Degree): for example Mechanical / Electrical / E&C / Computer Science Engineering.
Technician Apprentice (Diploma): Diploma in relevant engineering discipline.

Mechanical Engg – Graduate: 10 posts; Technician: 12 posts
Electrical Engg – Graduate: 08 posts; Technician: 11 posts
Electronics & Communication – Graduate: 05 posts; Technician: 08 posts
Computer Science & Engineering – Graduate: 04 posts (as per one source)
Age Limit & Stipend
Age Limit: Will be as per the Apprenticeship Rules (i.e., eligibility governed by the Apprenticeship Act)
Stipend / Pay:
Graduate Apprentice: approx ₹ 9,000/month
Technician Apprentice: approx ₹ 8,000/month
Selection Process
Selection is merit-based, based on aggregate marks in the qualifying degree/diploma.
Preference given to children of VPA employees (deceased/invalidated/superannuated/serving) as per norms.
Final list will be category-wise (General/SC/ST/OBC) after document verification.
