Eligibility
Educational/Professional
GDMO: Medical practitioners with MBBS degree from a recognised institution and registered with the Medical Council/NMC/State Medical Council.
Specialists: Must hold MBBS + PG Diploma or MD/MS in the respective specialty.
Experience in clinical practice may be preferred.
Age Limit
Up to ~69 years as on cut-off date (approx — candidates beyond typical retirement age are considered due to contract nature).
Remuneration
Monthly Pay (Approx):
GDMO: ~₹90,000/- per month
Specialists: ~₹1,20,000 to ₹1,60,000/- per month

Benefits such as allowances may be provided as per contract terms, but non-practising allowance is not typically payable.
Selection Process
Walk-in Interview — Candidates need to appear in person on the given dates at:
Office of CMO-in-charge (M&HS), DSP Main Hospital, Durgapur-713205.
Eligibility Verification of original documents before the interview.
Final selection based on interview performance and experience.
Candidates must carry original + self-attested copies of certificates (MBBS, PG Diploma/Degree, registration, experience proofs, ID, etc.) to the walk-in interview.
Important Notes
This post is contractual/consultant engagement, not regular permanent employment.
Contract duration may initially be 1 year with possible extension based on performance/requirement.
No TA/DA is generally paid for attending the interview.
