The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced 434 vacancies
for various paramedical staff positions across Indian Railways.
This recruitment drive opens a wide range of roles for healthcare-trained professionals under CEN 03/2025
Vacancy Breakdown and Qualifications
Nursing Superintendent (272 posts): GNM or B.Sc Nursing with valid registration.
Pharmacist (Entry Grade, 105 posts): Diploma or degree in Pharmacy plus registration.
Health & Malaria Inspector Grade‑III (33 posts): B.Sc with Chemistry, plus relevant diploma or NTC.
Lab Assistant Grade II (12 posts): Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT).
Radiographer / X‑Ray Technician 4 posts:
Diploma in Radiography or equivalent.
ECG Technician (4 posts): Degree or diploma in ECG/Cardiology technology.
Dialysis Technician (4 posts): B.Sc plus diploma or experience in Hemodialysis

Age Limit (as on 01 Jan 2026) & Relaxation
Age limits vary by post:
Nursing Superintendent: 20–43 years
Pharmacist: 20–38 years
Health & Malaria Inspector / Radiographer / ECG Technician / Lab Assistant / Dialysis Technician: 18–36 years
Dietician (if applicable): 18–36 years
Relaxation provided as per government norms:
OBC (NCL): +3 years
SC/ST: +5 years
PwBD: UR +10, OBC +13, SC/ST +15
Ex‑Servicemen, employees, candidates from J&K, and others get applicable relaxations as per policy

Computer-Based Test (CBT) — 100 questions in 90 minutes:
Professional Ability: 70 Qs
General Awareness: 10
Arithmetic & Reasoning: 10
General Science: 10
Negative marking of 1/3 per wrong answer applies

Document Verification — shortlisting based on CBT score and eligibility.
Medical Examination — as per Railways medical norms.
Final Merit List — based on normalized CBT marks, document and medical clearance
