IBPS Customer Service Associate Recruitment 2025 – Full Overview
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has launched its CRP‑CSA XV recruitment drive for 2025, aiming to fill 10,277 Customer Service Associate (CSA) positions across 11 participating public sector banks. The official notification was released on 31 July 2025, with the application window opening from 1 August to 21 August 2025
Qualifications & Computer Literacy
Minimum Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university, to be acquired on or before 21 August 2025
Computer Literacy: Mandatory—candidates must have either:
A Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/language, or
Studied Computer/IT as a subject during school or college
Local language proficiency is preferred—ability to read, write and speak the language of the state/UT for which you apply
Age Limit & Relaxation
Minimum Age: 20 years
Maximum Age: 28 years as on 1 August 2025 (born between 2 August 1997 and 1 August 2005 inclusive)
Relaxation as per government norms:
OBC: +3 years
SC/ST: +5 years
PwBD: +10 years
Ex‑Servicemen: Service period +3 years (max limit applies)
Important Dates
Online Registration Period: 1 August – 21 August 2025
Pre‑Exam Training: Scheduled in September 2025
Preliminary Exam Dates: 4, 5 and 11 October 2025
Main Exam: 29 November 2025
Provisional Allotment: March 2026, post main exam result
Application Process
Register online via the IBPS career portal between 1 and 21 August.
Fill the application form with personal,
educational and communication details.
Upload scanned documents: photograph, signature, degree certificate, identity proof, computer certificate, and category certificate (if applicable).
Salary / Pay Scale:
₹24,050–24,480 starting pay, rising to ₹64,480 over time, plus allowances as applicable in participating banks
Pay application fee (online):
₹850 for General/OBC/EWS
₹175 for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex‑Servicemen (fees inclusive of GST)

Selection Procedure
Stage 1 – Preliminary Exam: 100 marks, 60 minutes, covering English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning.
Stage 2 – Mains Exam: 200 marks, 160 minutes, including sections on General/Financial Awareness, English Language, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude and Quantitative Aptitude

No interview stage—final selection based purely on Mains score and language qualification
Candidates selected as CSAs will receive an initial basic pay starting around ₹19,900, depending on the participating bank, and may earn up to approximately ₹47,920 per month, subject to allowances and bank-specific rules
