Eligibility Criteria
Age: 20–30 years as of 1 July 2025.
Age relaxations: SC/ST (+5 yrs), OBC (+3 yrs), PwBD (+10 yrs), Ex‑servicemen/1984 riot-affected (+5 yrs)
Education:
A four‑year bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related fields (Horticulture, Veterinary Science, Dairy/Fishery Science, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry, etc.)
Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen or hold equivalent eligibility (e.g., Nepal/Bhutan refugee status)
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Preliminary Exam (150 questions, 2 hours)
Sections: English (25 marks), Reasoning (50), Quantitative Aptitude (50)
Mains Exam – Professional Knowledge (60 questions, 45 minutes; 60 marks)
Interview – 100 marks
Final Merit – Based on combined score; weightage approx. 80% (Main) + 20% (Interview)
Salary & Allowances
Monthly In-hand Salary: Approximately ₹48,480–₹85,920 (Basic + DA + HRA + Other allowances)
Estimated CTC: ₹9–10 lakh per annum including perks

Job Profile
As an Agricultural Field Officer, your responsibilities will include:
Disbursing and monitoring agricultural loans
Conducting site inspections in rural areas
Promoting and expanding banking products among farmers
Coordinating with Panchayats and agricultural stakeholders
Analyzing soil and crop suitability, maintaining regular farmer contact
