What’s Good & What to Check Carefully
Advantages
Opportunity with a reputed public enterprise (ECIL) — stable technical career.
Range of posts — Engineers (degree holders) and Diploma holders both eligible.
Progressive salary for Project Engineers over the contract period.
Contract period with possibility of extension — gives flexibility to both employer and employee.
Walk-in mode — simpler than long application-deadline procedures; favourable for quick/ready candidates.
Things to Verify / Be Cautious About
The number of posts is limited (only 23) — competition likely to be high.
Must meet exact discipline-wise eligibility (branch of engineering must match).
Written test + skill test used — you need to prepare technically, not just rely on eligibility.
Contractual employment — not permanent from the start; job security and future confirmation depend on performance & project continuity.
For diploma holders: only APE-C posts; verify trade-wise vacancy and eligibility clearly before attending.
