For certain posts (Electrical Engineer, Store Keeper, Lab Assistant, Junior Clerk), a fixed salary is paid for the first five years as per Gujarat Government rules (e.g., Lab Assistant/Junior Clerk ~₹26,000/month) before regular pay scale applies.
Eligibility Criteria (Non-Teaching)
Educational Qualifications
Junior Clerk: Graduate (Any stream) from a recognised University with basic computer knowledge.

Lab Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in Botany/Microbiology/Zoology (or relevant science) from a recognised University.
Deputy Registrar: Master’s degree (55%+) + relevant administrative experience.
Section Officer / PS to VC: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree as per post requirement.
Electrical Engineer: Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Store Keeper: Bachelor’s degree + store handling experience.
Age Limit
Deputy Registrar: Up to ~45 years
Section Officer / PS to VC: Up to ~42 years
Electrical Engineer / Lab Assistant / Junior Clerk: Up to ~35 years
Store Keeper: Up to ~40 years

Selection Process
Non-Teaching Posts (Sr.1-3): Interview based.
