AWES Recruitment 2025 – PGT, TGT & PRT (Multiple Posts)
The Army Welfare Education Society AWES has announced its recruitment for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT),
Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), and Primary Teachers (PRT) across Army Public Schools nationwide.
Applications are being accepted through an Online Screening Test (OST).
Important Dates
Notification Released: Early June 2025
Application Window:
5 June – 16 August 2025
Correction Window: 22–24 August 2025
Admit Card Available: From 8 September 2025
Screening Test Dates: 20–21 September 2025
(with reserve slots on 22–23 Sep)
Educational Qualification & Age Limit
PGT: Post-graduation with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject, plus B.Ed or integrated B.Ed. course
TGT: Graduation with 50% marks in subject + B.Ed 50%
PRT: Graduation + B.El.Ed or two-year D.El.Ed with 50%, or B.Ed graduates. CTET/TET-qualified candidates are preferred
Age Limit (as on 16 August 2025):
Fresh applicants: Below 40 years
Experienced candidates: Up to 57 years in some cases
NCR-specific quotas have different age ceilings (e.g., TGT/PRT under 29 years, PGT under 36 years)
Application Fee
All candidates pay a non-refundable ₹385 online. There is no relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD category
Selection Process
OST (Online Screening Test) – objective MCQ exam (200 questions; 1 mark each; ¼ negative marking)
Interview & Teaching Skills Evaluation – schools conduct interviews and assess teaching ability post-OST
Document Verification & Medical Exam
A valid OST scorecard (50%+ for eligibility) is mandatory for selection

Register on the AWES portal between 5 June and 16 August 2025
Select eligible PGT, TGT, and/or PRT positions (up to three posts)
Fill details, upload educational and category certificates, photo, signature
Pay ₹385 through debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI
Submit before deadline and download confirmation slip and admit card
