The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has issued Advertisement No. 25/2025, inviting online applications for 18 Junior Engineer (JE) positions in the Soil Conservation Department under various notifications (including Advt. 26/2025)
Qualifications
Essential: A three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering, or in Agriculture Engineering, from an AICTE- or State Board-recognized institute.
Course Requirements: Only full-time regular diplomas are considered; distance or correspondence diplomas are not eligible
Age Limit (as on 1 January 2025)
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 40 years
Age Relaxation:
OBC/MOBC: +3 years
SC/ST: +5 years
Ex-servicemen: up to 42 years (UR), with additional relaxations for OBC/MOBC and SC/ST
PwBD: +10 years across all categories .

Pay Scale
Selected JEs will receive a monthly salary in the Pay Band‑2, ranging from ₹14,000 to ₹70,000, with a Grade Pay of ₹8,700, including allowances
