Assistant Professor: As per AMU/NMC rules
Senior Resident: Usually up to 40 years (relaxation as applicable)
Tenure
Senior Resident: Contract basis (generally 1 year, extendable)
Assistant Professor: Regular / Contract (as notified)
Salary
As per 7th Pay Commission
Assistant Professor: ~₹1.0–1.3 lakh/month
Senior Resident: ~₹67,700/month + allowances
