AP TET 2024 Notification (July Cycle) – Exams from August 5 to 20
The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024, conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, has officially been announced. The exam will be held from August 5 to August 20, 2024, in a computer-based mode.
This exam is a mandatory qualification for those seeking teacher positions in Classes I to VIII across government,
aided, and private schools in Andhra Pradesh.
Eligibility Criteria
Paper I (for Classes I–V):
Intermediate / Senior Secondary
(or equivalent) with at least 50% marks
Passed or appearing in 2-year
Diploma in Elementary Education
(D.El.Ed) or 4-year B.El.Ed
Paper II (for Classes VI–VIII):
Bachelor’s:
degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com) with at least 50% marks
Passed or appearing in 2-year
B.Ed or 4-year B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed
Note::
Relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks for SC/ST/BC/PwD candidates.
Age Limit There is no upper
age limit for AP TET. However, candidates must have the required
educational qualifications at the time of applying.

How to Apply
Visit the official APTET website and complete fee payment based on papers selected.
Fill in the online application form, uploading a scanned photograph and signature.
Choose preferred exam center, paper(s), and language(s).
Submit:
the application and download the reference ID for future use.
Final Notes
The AP TET is a qualifying exam only;
clearing it does not guarantee a job but makes one eligible to apply for teacher
vacancies.
Candidates should prepare thoroughly based on the updated syllabus and attempt mock CBTs in advance.
