Educational Qualification
Applicants must hold a BE/B.Tech or equivalent in the relevant discipline,
achieving a minimum of 65% marks or a CGPA of 6.84/10.
For refrigeration and A/C,
the degree must include that specialization;
architecture candidates must also be registered with the Council of Architecture. Final-year candidates are eligible provided they complete their degree by August 31, 2025
Age Limit
Upper limit (General): 28 years as of July 14, 2025
Age relaxation applies for OBC (+3 years), SC/ST (+5 years), and other categories per government norms
Salary
Selected candidates will join as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ at the Level-10 pay scale,
with a starting basic pay of ₹56,100 per month,
along with standard central government allowances

Others will receive a ₹500 refund after appearing for the written test

Selection Process
Stage 1: Written Test
Part A: Discipline-specific questions (approx. 80 marks)
Part B: General aptitude (approx. 15–20 marks)
Negative marking applies to Part A; no negative marking in aptitude section
Stage 2: Interview
Marks split evenly between written test and interview
Shortlisting ratio typically 1:5
