Disputes Redressal Commission (ASCDRC) and District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions (DCDRCs)
quasi-judicial bodies that adjudicate consumer disputes under the Consumer Protection Act.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Graduate degree from a UGC-recognized University.
Degrees obtained through regular/full-time courses only (distance/open learning may not be eligible).
Experience & Age
For ASCDRC Member: Minimum 40 years.
For DCDRC Member: Minimum 35 years.
Upper age limit: Generally up to 65 years during tenure.
Pay & Allowances
Post Pay Scale Grade Pay
ASCDRC Member ₹30,000 – ₹1,10,000 ₹17,500
DCDRC Member ₹30,000 – ₹1,10,000 ₹15,700
