Educational Qualification
To be eligible, applicants must have:
MBBS Degree from a recognized University / Medical Institute
Must possess valid medical registration (Delhi Medical Council or equivalent) at the time of interview
Internship: Completed compulsory rotating internship on or before the interview date
Previous Residency: Candidates must not have completed one year as Junior Resident at any government hospital; fresh graduates are preferred.
Age Limit
General Category: Maximum 30 years
OBC: Maximum 33 years
SC/ST: Maximum 35 years
Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Government of India / GNCTD norms and reservation rules (with valid certificate).
Salary / Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be offered pay under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-10:
Basic Pay: ₹56,100 per month
Dearness Allowance (DA),
NPA & usual allowances as per rules
In-hand salary: Competitive for a Junior Resident position in government service

Key Points to Note
Hostel accommodation is compulsory for Junior Residents — no House Rent Allowance (HRA) is provided if staying outside the hostel.
No TA/DA
will be paid for attending the interview.
Initial posting is for a short period (typically ~89 days) and may be extended up to one year based on satisfactory performance and conduct.
If fresh MBBS graduates are not available, candidates who have already completed residency with experience may be considered, but priority is given to fresh graduation interns who meet eligibility.

Job Role & Responsibilities
Junior Residents at SRHC Hospital are expected to:
