What’s Good & What to Verify Carefully
Why It’s a Strong Opportunity
Working in TMC / HBCH / MPMMCC — among India’s top institutions for oncology / cancer care / medical training.
High consolidated pay for medical graduates / PG doctors, even for a one-year tenure.
Variety of departments — surgical oncology, radiation oncology, anaesthesia, paediatric oncology, palliative medicine, general medicine — offering multiple specialization-wise opportunities.
Walk-in mode — no lengthy application process; quicker turnaround; good for candidates who are ready immediately.
Even MBBS candidates (for Medical Officer post) have a chance — not restricted solely to PG degree holders.
What to Double-Check / Be Ready For
It’s a fixed-tenure (one year) contract — not permanent posting. Candidates should check after-contract prospects or re-appointment norms.
For specialty posts (Senior Resident / Fellow), only those with exact required PG degrees (recognized by NMC) are eligible. Don’t assume other similar qualifications will work.
Documents & Registration validity (NMC registration, speciality registration, any prior SR / Fellowship history, etc.) must be proper.
For posts with limited vacancies (e.g. only 1 or 3 posts), demand may be high — arrive early for walk-in (first-come basis).
For outstation candidates: you may need to send documents by email and then attend — ensure you follow instructions properly (email subject/post applied etc.).
