South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has announced the recruitment of 543 Assistant Foreman (Electrical) T&S Grade-C (Trainee) positions. This recruitment is open to permanent departmental employees of SECL who meet the specified eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria
A(I) – Assistant Foreman (Electrical) T&S Grade-C (Trainee)
Educational Qualifications:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering (minimum 3 years), approved by AICTE, or
Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience as of September 30, 2025
Additional Requirements:
Valid Supervisory Certificate for working as an Electrical Supervisor in Mines (with Mining Part) under the Indian Electricity Rules
Minimum attendance: 240 days (surface) or 190 days (underground) annually in the reference period (including approved leaves); pro-rata for partial years
Only permanent departmental employees are eligible
Post-Selection:
On selection, candidates will be placed as Assistant Foreman (Electrical) (Trainee) for 2 years, after which confirmation will be based on performance
A(II) – Assistant Foreman (Electrical) T&S Grade-C
Eligibility:
Any permanent employee of SECL who has completed any prior training period
Post-Selection:
Direct appointment as per company requirements
