Eligibility / Qualifications
Different posts require different qualifications. Some major eligibility criteria:
Graduation from a recognized University or Institute.
For many journalism / mass communication / visual communication roles (Correspondent, Anchor, Senior Correspondent, Content Executive, Copy Editor, Copy Writer), a Post-Graduate Diploma in Journalism / Mass Communication or equivalent is preferred or required.
For Broadcast Executive: degree in Radio/TV Production or a professional diploma in Radio/TV Production.
Videographer: 10+2 (high school pass) plus Diploma / Degree in Videography / Cinematography or equivalent.
Age Limits
Age maximums differ by role:
Post Category Max Age Limit
Senior Correspondent, Bulletin Editor ~ 45 years
Other posts like Broadcast Executive, Videographer, Packaging Assistant etc. ~ 40 years
For some junior posts (Anchor-cum-Correspondent Grade III, Packaging Assistant) age limit ~ 30 years.
For Content Executive, Copy Editor roles ~ 35 years.
Relaxation for reserved categories as per government norms.
Salary / Pay Scale
Pay Matrix for roles is between ₹ 25,000 – ₹ 80,000 per month depending on post and seniority.
Higher roles (Senior Correspondent, Bulletin Editor) will get salaries nearer the top end of the range.
Selection Process
Selection can involve shortlisting, followed by test/interview based on the post.
No TA/DA for test / interview.
