In SSC CPO 2025, 2,861 vacancies are for Sub Inspector (General Duty, GD) in various CAPFs (Central Armed Police Forces).
Apart from these, there are also vacancies for Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police (male & female).

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree (in any discipline) from a recognized university.
For SI (Executive) / Delhi Police, male candidates must have a valid driving license (LMV / motorcycle & car) by the date fixed for Physical Endurance & Standard Tests.
Age Limit
Age must be between 20 to 25 years as on the specified cutoff date (for 2025).
Relaxations in upper age limit are applicable as per rules (for SC / ST / OBC / Ex-servicemen etc.).
Selection / Exam Pattern
The selection consists of multiple stages:
Paper-I (CBT)
Objective type exam.
Subjects typically include:
General Intelligence & Reasoning
General Knowledge & General Awareness
Quantitative Aptitude
English Comprehension
Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates who qualify Paper-I have to undergo physical tests (height, race, jumps etc.).
Paper-II (CBT / Descriptive / English Language & Comprehension)
The second paper tests English language / comprehension skills.
Detailed Medical Examination / Document Verification
Final stage for candidates who clear all previous rounds.
Salary / Pay & Grade
Selected SIs (both in CAPFs and Delhi Police) are paid as per Level-6 in the 7th Pay Commission scale.
The basic pay is ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 with allowances (DA, HRA, etc.).
