Eligibility & Qualifications
Qualifications vary by post:
Research Officer (Group A): MD/MS (Ayurveda or Pathology), registered with the relevant board; maximum age 40.
Assistant Research Officer, Staff Nurse, Translators, Research Assistants: Relevant PG or graduate degrees; category‑wise age limits up to 30 or 35 with specified experience.
Stenographer Grade I (Senior): Matric plus shorthand (~120 wpm) and typing (40 wpm), plus 3 years’ experience.
Stenographer Grade II (Junior): Matric, shorthand ~100 wpm, typing 40 wpm.
UDC: Any graduate; LDC: 12th pass with typing speed requirement (English 35 wpm or Hindi 30 wpm).
MTS and technical positions: 10th pass or ITI certificate plus relevant trade‑experience or vocational training.
Age Limits & Relaxation
Age varies by post: up to 40 years for Group A researchers; 30–35 years for Group B posts; 27–28 years for clerical and MTS roles.
Relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST applies as on 31 August 2025.

Application Fees
Group A (e.g. Research Officers): Processing ₹ 500 + Exam ₹ 1,000 → Total ₹ 1,500 for General/OBC.
Group B: Processing ₹ 200 + Exam ₹ 500 → Total ₹ 700.
Group C: Processing ₹ 100 + Exam ₹ 200 → Total ₹ 300.
Exempted categories (SC/ST/PwBD/EWS/Women/Ex-servicemen) pay only processing fee, or no fee where specified.
Selection Process
Group A Posts: Online Computer-Based Test (CBT) for 70 marks, followed by interview for 30 marks.
Group B & C Posts: Selection solely based on a 100‑mark CBT.
CBT includes general awareness, reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English, and post-specific sections. Negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer applies for most posts except MTS.
