Educational Qualification & Experience
Essential: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a UGC-recognized university—this includes Integrated Dual Degree (IDD), professional qualifications like CA, CS, Engineering, or Medical.
Mandatory Work Experience: Minimum 1 year as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank as per RBI’s Second Schedule. Experience in NBFCs, cooperative banks, fintechs, payment banks, or small finance banks is not acceptable.

21 to 30 years

Pay Scale
Initial Basic Pay: ₹48,480
In-Service Progression: ₹48,480‑67,160‑85,920 under JMG/S‑I scale

Selection Process
Online Test: 120 questions (English, Banking Knowledge, Economic/General Awareness, Reasoning & Quant) – 120 minutes with sectional timing. Negative marking at 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Mandatory; tests reading, writing & speaking in the local language of the applied state.
Psychometric Test: To assess suitability for banking roles.
Group Discussion / Interview: Shortlisted candidates across states. Minimum marks required: 60% (Gen), 55% (Reserved).
Provisional Selection: Based on performance in all stages, subject to document verification, local language test, and medical fitness.
