Essential Qualifications
A full-time Diploma in Engineering in one of the specified disciplines is mandatory.
Final-year diploma students may apply but must complete their course and meet the required minimum 60% marks by 22 July 2025.
Only AICTE/UGC/Central/State Govt.-recognized diplomas are acceptable; candidates with higher qualifications (B.E./B.Tech etc.) are not eligible.

Training & Stipend
Selected candidates will undergo on-the-job training for one year, followed by absorption as Junior Officers in the O1 pay scale (₹21,750–₹65,000). During training, the consolidated stipend is based on the city class:
“X” cities (e.g., Taloja, Kolkata, Manali): ₹18,200 + allowance = ₹26,000
“Y” cities: ₹17,150 + allowance = ₹24,500
“Z” cities: ₹16,100 + allowance = ₹23,000
Besides the stipend, trainees receive a ₹40/day lunch allowance and OPD medical coverage up to one month’s stipend
Selection Procedure
Online Written Exam: 90-minute MCQ test at exam centers across India. PwBD candidates get a 30-minute time concession.
Pre-employment Medical Exam
Selection is based on merit and category reservation, with written-test call-ups limited to eligible applicants.
Final Appointment leads to training and eventual confirmation after probation
